How? To participate or just attend to support our cause,
fill in the form here before the 6th of April and retrieve your bib number personalized with “Run to raise mental health awareness” at the “Finish line” booth!
People with mental health disorders are often excluded from participating in sports events throughout Europe. The reason being that there is no adequate promotion of awareness in the general public, while at the same time there are also no specific sports centers aimed at the inclusion of this target group to the sports field.
With the above critical issue in mind, we aspire to create a transnational running event in Brussels that will raise public awareness regarding the stigmatization of people with mental health disorders in sports. Participants will have the choice between two pieces of the semi-marathon: the 15k or the 6k. Parallel semi-Marathons will be also organized in Athens, Budapest and Rome.
The first 200 participants will receive their bib number for free. To collect it, go to the “Finish line” booth on the day of the race.
If you come as a guest to support our case, we will also be waiting for you to the “Finish line” booth, to inform you on several mental health issues!
