AUSTRIAN ARTISTS AT THE GREAT ESCAPE & FOCUS WALES 2022
THE GREAT ESCAPE (TGE) is returning this year, taking place in 30+ venues across Brighton from 11th – 14th May 2022. The belated 15th birthday edition of the festival will once again introduce a cutting-edge line up of both brand new and established artists from all over the world to celebrate new music discovery. Among the stellar international lineup are Austrian acts, Alicia Edelweiss, Florence Arman, OSKA and Sofie.
Just a few days before TGE, FOCUS Wales 2022 takes place from May 5th-7th and will mark the festival’s 11th edition, welcoming over 15,000 people and showcasing 250+ artists from across the world. Among them are Austrian acts ATZUR and LAIKKA.

FM4 SOUNDPARK ACT OF THE MONTH: KAMP & FID MELLA
The FM4 Soundpark is a web-platform, community, and radio show for Austrian musicians. Every month, one act is selected to be highlighted both online and on air: Kamp & Fid Mella is the FM4 Soundpark Act for April. Kamp is back: in full album length and with a lyrical masterpiece that - in collaboration with producer Fid Mella - seamlessly follows his last “longplayer” 13 years ago.

FOCUS ACTS 2022
Since 2015, selected FOCUS ACTS have been supported with annual tour subsidies. The sizeable endowment is intended to enable local acts to accept more concert invitations from abroad, and thereby strengthen the presence of Austrian musicians on the international stage. The FOCUS ACTS are awarded by the FEDERAL MINISTRY FOR ARTS, CULTURE, CIVIL SERVICE AND SPORT (BMKOES) – together with AUSTRIAN MUSIC EXPORT. 5 MILLION PESOS: DUO SONOMA
5 MILLION PESOS is a monthly concert series presented by ORF RadioKulturhaus and the radio Ö1 jazz department. Every month, one up-and-coming jazz act is selected to be highlighted on air and live at the Vienna RadioCafe.
