Earlier this month we got out first taste of touring since the release of the album. It was a very short tour but the cities we visited were spectacular: Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris and Berlin. In Brussels and Paris we had the great opportunity to support Richard Hawley who was on top form, and in Amsterdam and Berlin we played our own shows.
The only downside to the tour was the journey home which saw us sat in the van from Berlin to Calais and then in the windy, cold ferry port for 5 hours waiting for the next ferry. Once on board at 1am, we had to endure smashing plates, chips flying everywhere and scared children as the boat slammed over the waves. Still, can't complain. We get to do it all again soon.
