I found some very cool facts about an English translation of the Hanuman Chalisa that was done by Ramdas Lamb, Ph.D. From the youtube video below: "In 1971 at the request of Neem Karoli Baba while at the Hanuman Temple in Vrindavan, India. Maharaji wanted the Westerners to benefit by knowing the meaning of the Hanuman Chalisa so he asked Ramdas, who was a monk in the Ramananda order, to create an English version and share it with the devotees. At the time, Ramdas was studying a book on the Chalisa in Hindi and Neem Karoli Baba wrote "Ram Ram" in it and then asked him to do this translation." I've been working on a word version and will attach a copy here; if you would like a copy to print, or read on your own computer.
Here is a video of singing a Krishna Das melody with this English translation.
This still remains one of my favorite youtube Chalisas; a five minute Chalisa!

Many blessings... Here is a picture of Sri Siddhi Ma of the Kainchi and Rishikesh Ashrams of Neem Karoli Baba.
She loves to hear westerners singing the Hanuman Chalisa.
