Chair Fund Campaign- Eighty Percent Raised
As we begin to wrap up the Chair Fund Campaign, we want to thank the many families who chose to be a part of this campaign. We believe that the new chairs (along with new carpet) are the next big step (and one of the last) in creating a beautiful makom tefillah/main sanctuary, that everyone can and should be proud of. To date, more than 60 families have contributed, we have raised more than $33,000, and more than 180 chairs have been dedicated.
In the coming weeks we hope to finalize the fabric for the chairs and place the chairs order. So, if you still want to be a part of this project, it is not too late. You can make a donation through the shul’s website: https://www.arzeidarom.org/form/chairfund or by speaking to Yosef Rothstein.
Thank you to the following families who have made a pledge towards the Chair Fund Campaign:

Parsha & Popsicles
It's back - starting this week children (and adults) of all ages can join us every Shabbat as Rabbi Ciment teaches us about the weekly parsha for a few moments and we enjoy a cold Popsicle (or two)! Come for the Torah, enjoy the popsicles and then stay and play in the park with friends.
Time: August 26 at 4:30 p.m.
Place: Herrick Park
This year we are looking for families to sponsor Parsha and Popsicles, at a cost of $18 for a one week sponsorship. Sponsor in honor of a birthday, an anniversary, or just because it is sunny day today. If you have questions about the program or would like to sponsor a shabbat please contact Daniel Essrog at dsessrog@gmail.com or Elianna Essrog elianna.essrog@gmail.com.

Crock Pot Kiddushes - Looking for Volunteers
We are underway planning the calendar for hot kiddushes. The Crock Pot Kiddush has been a very enjoyable experience over the years. Our shul has been fortunate over the years to have members volunteer their time to make delicious cholent for kiddush on Shabbos. We are looking to expand our group of volunteers so that we can have the Crock Pot Kiddush monthly, usually around Rosh Chodesh. Volunteers can be reimbursed up to $80 for ingredients. If you are interested in making cholent for the shul please contact Holly Weiss at holly.ohrenweiss1@gmail.com.

Mommy and Me
Mommy and Me is led by a rotating group of local moms with help from some enthusiastic middle school youth volunteers. Leading the program is easy, fun, and gets our little ones excited about Shabbat and being in shul! If you are interested in leading Mommy and Me once a month (or more!), or have any questions about the program, please email mommyandme@arzeidarom.org
PoKiZman Club meets every Shabbat at 10:15 am.
Please remind your children to be prepared to participate in davening.
Kiddush Committee News
Kiddush clean up is on a rotating basis, based on your last name. While we recognize that everyone in your group may not be available each Shabbat, we ask that you pitch in if you are assigned in that month so that the same people are not doing the clean-up each week. We all like kiddushes and we all make plans for lunch after shul so please be respectful of your fellow congregants by helping out during your assigned month if you are in shul. We also ask that you please watch your children during Kiddush to the extent possible, and to place their finished items in the garbage cans provided.
