Cozy B&B in great location - Just finished a week-long stay at Holden House in October. We wanted to be near many of the outdoor activities near Colorado Springs, and the location fits. It is also near many very good restaurants in Old Colorado City. We stayed in the Independence Suite in the Rose Victorian. It was very cozy, with a very comfortable king bed, a fireplace in view from the bed, with an in suite bath and sitting room. Weather was rainy and cold during the week, but the room stayed warm. Room also set up for accessibility but maintained it's comfort and flow. B&B staff (Connie, Jennifer, Heather, Tracy) were all very friendly and helpful, and all other guests were friendly as well. Breakfast has 2 seatings, one at 8 and the other at 9. Breakfasts were prepared by staff right before serving, and were delicious and filling. There's also a wine and snacks happy hour from 5 to 7. First floor of main house stays available 7X24 for coffee, tea, DVDs, computer use and petting the cat! ...
