For decades now, our April issue – now our massive quarterly SPRING edition in our highly acclaimed new format – has carried our annual festival supplement. This is our biggest seller each year, and many people (including other media) from all over the world use it as their main source of information on the UK and mainland Europe's folk, roots and world music events, as the best available guide anywhere. This year's is published on 12th March.

As part of that advertising supplement, which appears in both our print and digital editions – now carried by many year round on their tablets and smartphones via our iOS and Android apps – we always include a FREE diary listing. This has details of every folk, roots and world music festival and traditional event in the UK & Mainland Europe that we can get information about.
Please make sure that our files are updated with your 2019 information by replying to this email with the information requested. OUR DEADLINE IS EARLIER THIS YEAR, MONDAY JANUARY 28th, but preferably DO IT NOW! (Thanks to those of you who have already given advance notification of 2019 info: we're still processing updates and welcome confirmation).

We can't include details of festival artist bills or other programming in the simple free diary listing. If received in time, these will be mentioned in the news section of the issue of fRoots that covers the quarter of your event. (April/ May/ June in the Spring issue, copy date 5th Feb; July/ Aug/ Sept in the Summer issue, copy date 7th May). Please make sure that we get a separate press release giving full artist listings as early as possible. News listings are also FREE but we can't print what we don't receive in time!
