This ultra-cool Odyssey was created by Donna Lucas-Mudd of Felton, CA. Donna said she made this bag up specifically for taking on a trip to the UK for her step-daughter's wedding. She used and upholstery remnant and some faux leather for the exterior!

And isn't this butterfly-themed Quattro incredible? It was created by Cheryl Maass of Goodyear, AZ. She even included a little butterfly charm as a zipperpull. Cheryl says that butterflies are a recurring theme in the fabric she chooses.

And here's an impressive Guardian made by Summer Denny of Goodman, MO. Summer said she recently started collecting chickens so they were the inspiration for this bag. Here's a peek at the back.

And here's a fun Lollapalooza to carry! It was created by Karen Wetherall of the UK who  wrote a post about sewing up this particular bag. Thanks so much Karen and you can click on this link to read it.

And if it's butterfly-themed....then its a pretty good bet it was probably created by Cheryl Maass who told me she trimmed the side edges of this Quattro with black binding to make the polkadots POP!

And I LOVE the fabric used for this HipBag Hybrid!  It has a stain-glass look that I really like and it looks fabulous on this HipBag, right? It was created by Diane Rhodes, of Monroeville, PA. Here's a peek at the back.

And I think this Uptown Saddlebag by Josee Carrier of Montreal, Canada has a modern yet classic look. I fell in love with it from the 1st time I saw it in one of Josee's posts which you can read HERE.

And finally, here's a beautiful Quattro by Ragna Tangerud of Norway. She told me she used a heavier-than-usual cotton for this bag which made it a little tough to sew, but she loves the final result. She's keeping this bag and making another for her DIL after Christmas!

So... What exactly IS crapware?
In simple terms, crapware is software you don't want, but—for one reason or another—gets installed on your system against your will. This can range from legitimate programs that come pre-installed (like Netflix or a trial of McAfee Antivirus) to browser toolbars, auto-starting apps, or something that changes your default search engine. A County government office in the Southwest US have built a cat condo in their office and are allowing employees to take a cat or kitten back to their desk for an hour a day.
The cats are housed in the lobby of this two storey office and as so many people visit this government building on a daily basis, it gives them a greater chance of being adopted, after all, who can resist a fluffy kitten!
Doesn't this sound like FUN? Click HERE to read more!

Quilting Headlines- FilmQuilts
Now THIS is a fascinating story!
Sabrina Gschwandtner uses film footage from textile documentaries from the fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) as her source material and then reworks them in several ways. These short, educational documentaries, dated 1952 - 1982, focused on textile crafts such as crocheting, knitting, sewing, fabric dyeing, and quilting, and celebrated the women who made them.
After watching the movies, she cuts them up & sews them together with her own, personal film footage to create these masterpieces which have to be seen to be believed! . To find out more about Sabrina's work and unique process, click HERE to see many more pictures!
