As 2016 came to a close, the stock market hit an all-time high and 2017 has entered with the promise of growth and prosperity, particularly in the Inland Empire. As you well know, the Inland Empire's position in business and population growth are quite favorable and continuing to move in an upward trend, according to data. As Dr. Husing often says, "We have dirt, and lots of it". We have room to grow and many companies are recognizing the advantage of positioning themselves in the Inland Empire. With momentum and earned recognition of the many benefits of growing a buisness in the Inland Empire, brings the promise of an increase in jobs, college enrollment, and an overall push for transporation to move products and people.
It's an exciting time for our region and our goal is to make sure you are connected to the changes and growth that matter most to you!

DEBBIE STONE FIRST MADAM MAYOR OF UPLAND
Debbie was first elected to the Upland City Council in 2011 following the appointment of Ray Musser to the position of Mayor. Debbie has always looked at public service as a way to give back to the community that has served her family. Shortly after being elected, Debbie saw the need for the City Council to lead by example as employees were asked to accept pay freezes as a part of maintaining the city's financial solvency. Her dedication to the "City of Gracious Living" has resulted in winning the Mayoral Election and becoming the first Madam Mayor for the City of Upland.
