   Recording albums for over 20 of his own bands including Onward, Toby Knapp, Affliktor, Where Evil Follows, Necrytis & Darken among others, being a full time guitar teacher, as well as a session studio and live musician for a multitude of world class national artists including Attila Csihar (Mayhem), Godless Rising, Fetid Zombie, Abhor & many more, Toby Knapp has kept very busy over the decades and has solidified his position as an all-around world-wide guitar hero, Virtuoso and legend!

   Signing with Moribund Records in 2014 for his band Waxen, Knapp immediately released their second full-length album “Agios Holokauston” the same year, redefining black metal and simultaneously inventing an entirely new sub-genre “Shred-Black Metal”! Not one to lay idol, Knapp swiftly returned with 2016’s critically acclaimed “Weihung Auf Satan”, once again pushing the known boundaries of extreme metal. “Weihung” even won over the hard-liners at internet stalwart metalsucks.net who wrote “one of those “everything” albums, one as exciting as it is excellent.”

   Waxen delivers skillfully played black metal with strong thrash and true metal leanings, drenched in Toby Knapp’s trademark guitar solo shred-mastery, all without compromising the extreme grimness that is black metals essence!

   PROVOCATOR digs deep into the dirges of mastermind Hellscream to unleash “Satan, Chaos, Blood and Terror”. This torrent of savagery is truly diabolical Black Metal. The album title says it all – 8 Hymns of total destruction paying homage to the legends of holocaust Metal, from Hellhammer and Bathory to Archgoat and Beherit!

   Originally founded as a solo project of BLEEDING FIST founder Hellscream, the band has now been expanded with the addition of vocalist Lord Astaroth from the rising Italian Black Metal act KURGAALL. Drawing inspiration and firmly rooted in the sound of the 80’s masters Hellhammer and Bathory, PROVOCATOR also takes que’s from modern Black Metal contemporaries such as Beherit, Archgoat and Conqueror, pulling the best of the 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s to create a goat-rocking sound all their own. The predominantly guttural in your face vocals by Lord Astaroth are bolstered by raging screams, howls, grunts and groans which are accented by Hellscream’s dark and dingy guitar tone and 80’s style drums.
