Events Seudat Shlishit Seudah shlishit is sponsored this week by Mark and Miryiam Einhorn in honor of their nephew Benzion Levin's upcoming wedding to Esther Shaw. Special Meeting - Property purchase approved by an overwhelming majority!! Thank you to all of the people who came out for the meeting and to all of the people who voted by absentee ballot. The exciting news is that the purchase of the property was approved by an overwhelming majority. There are so many people to thank for getting our community to this chapter in our history. Their efforts date back as far as 2001, when our shul was first created, continued through our time in our various "basement homes," and into our current building, which was finished ten years ago. It is truly the result of literally dozens of people over the year who helped build the shul into the wonderful place it is today. There will be a ton of work to be done, including working towards a communal consensus on how to utilize the additional property, funding the project, and getting the project built - and we hope everyone will feel apart of it, and will contribute to its success.
In addition, to the vote on the purchase of the house, at the meeting all of the sections of the proposed Constitutional Amendment passed.
Lag B'Omer Concert - Thank Yous
Thank you to all of those who arranged our community's festive Lag B'omer BBQ and Soulfarm concert. Special thanks to Event Chairs Shira Grunstein and Elana Rosenbluth as well as Committee members Sandra Knoll, Rachel Distenfeld, Dahlia Goldbrenner, Jacqueline Lindenfeld and Dori and Jay Haberman.  Board Meeting - May 7

Ramban on Chumash, Shabbat Mornings 8:15 am
Everyone is welcome to join Rabbi Ciment this Shabbat as he continues his new Shabbat morning parsha shiur with commentary from the RamBan starting at 8:15 am. This year's Arzei Darom dinner will be on June 10. The shul is pleased to announce we will be honoring Aliza and Ron Goldgewert for all of their contributions to the shul. Please be on the lookout for more information coming out soon.
Shul-Wide Mishnayot Learning
Building on the success of last year's learning program, we are now kicking off the start of a shul wide learning program of Mishnayot.
Men, women, and children are encouraged to sign-up early to choose a sefer for independent study at this link, and email maxlindenfeld@gmail.com The completion date is for Shabbat Chol HaMoed Sukkot (September 29, 2018) for a siyyum in the sukkah. Sponsorships are available!! Youth Department News
Mommy and Me
Mommy and Me is led by a rotating group of local moms with help from enthusiastic middle school youth volunteers. Leading the program is easy, fun, and gets our little ones excited about Shabbat and being in shul! If you are interested in leading Mommy and Me once a month (or more!), or have any questions about the program, please email mommyandme@arzeidarom.org

Kiddush clean up is on a rotating basis, based on your last name. While we recognize that everyone in your group may not be available each Shabbat, we ask that you pitch in if you are assigned in that month so that the same people are not doing the clean-up each week. We all like kiddushes and we all make plans for lunch after shul so please be respectful of your fellow congregants by helping out during your assigned month if you are in shul. We also ask that you please watch your children during Kiddush to the extent possible, and to place their finished items in the garbage cans provided. Bnai Yeshurun Lecture Series for Women

Drivers Needed for Tomchei Shabbos
Bikur Cholim of Bergen County (BCBC) provides support, facilities, and services to ease the burden of families during trying times. We partner with our families to relieve some of the stress and effects of illness, with compassion and concern. BCBC is a volunteer driven, not- for-profit organization, guided by the RCBC. We are currently looking for men and women who would like to join our volunteer core of sensitive and caring individuals, so that we can expand our services to those in need. We are looking for volunteers to help with: meal preparation, driving the elderly or ill to local doctor appointments, visiting people in need, or giving respite to a caregiver. As we expand, we are also looking for people with organizational expertise to oversee new projects.
