GaySail France 2026
Sunshine, sailing & a little Côte d’Azur mischief 😎⛵️
We finished our 2026 French sailing season in style — with two catamarans, a great group of guys and one unforgettable week along the Côte d’Azur.
After our first night in Port Pin Rolland, near Toulon, and dinner on the beach, we hoisted the sails and headed for Port-Cros. A tiny, picturesque harbour, crystal-clear water and a fantastic spot for snorkeling. Not a bad way to start the week!
The next stop was legendary Pampelonne Beach, the famous stretch of sand forever associated with Brigitte Bardot and the glamorous Côte d’Azur. We swam, soaked up the sunshine, took a sunset walk along the beach and then settled down for dinner at one of the great beach restaurants.
Then came Saint-Tropez.
A free afternoon meant plenty of time to explore the colourful streets, enjoy a drink and check out the mega-yachts in the harbour. And naturally, we also had a look at some of the owners and crew. We are sailors, after all. 😉🍸
That evening we escaped the crowds and anchored in a secluded bay. Dinner on deck under the stars, followed by drinks, music and a little GaySail nightlife. What happens on the boat stays on the boat… although we suspect a few stories may have made it ashore. 😏
The next day we sailed along the Giens Peninsula, enjoying the beautiful coastline before dropping anchor in a protected bay. That evening we headed to a gorgeous beach restaurant for dinner — sandy feet, salty skin and exactly the kind of evening you come to the French Riviera for.
The following morning we sailed to Porquerolles, one of the jewels of the Îles d’Hyères. After lunch on board, everyone had time to explore the island by bike, discover the village and find a beautiful beach for a swim.
And then, far too soon, it was time to sail back to Port Pin Rolland.
Seven days. Two catamarans. Beautiful islands. Great food. Warm water. Cocktails. New friendships. Plenty of sunshine… and probably a few stories that are best kept between the crew. 🍾🌴

To get to your British Virgin Islands sailing trip, you’ll need to fly into Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport (EIS), Beef Island, Tortola. There are international flights via San Juan, St. Martin (easiest for our European guests), Antigua (easiest for our British guests) and other local connections with Liat, Winair, InterCaribbean, Seaborne and Cape Air.
From the USA and Canada: Fly to Cyril E. King airport in St Thomas in the US Virgin Islands (airport code: STT) and then take the ferry to Tortola, BVI. You can also book a private ferry from Charlotte Amalie to Scrub Island with Dolphin Water Taxi and Ferry. They will also help you with your custom documentation in Road Town where you will not have to get off the ferry. Or you fly to Saint Martin, Antiqua or San Juan and take a local flight to the British Virgin Islands.

France 2027!
Yes, we did it! ⛵️
We’ve been talking about it for a while… and now it’s official:
We ordered a brand-new Bali Catsmart 2027 for the entire 2027 season!
And there’s more: we have the option to buy the catamaran after the season, which means that if everything goes as planned, this could become the start of something much bigger for GaySail in France.
So what does that mean for you?
Lots of sailing!
During the season we’ll offer regular GaySail and GayNudeSail cabin-charter weeks, private cruises for groups and friends, day sailing trips for guests staying at our private Gay Resort La Connexion,
and potentially even more sailing adventures along the Côte d’Azur.
For 2027, we have already scheduled six GaySail and GayNudeSail sailing weeks between May and September — and this is just the beginning. Welcome aboard your new home at sea. Our new 38-foot Bali Catsmart is designed for relaxed Mediterranean sailing, with plenty of space to enjoy life on board. There are four comfortable double cabins, two bathrooms and two small single crew cabins at the front of the catamaran.
Travelling alone? You can share a double cabin with another guest, with the bed made up with separate sheets for each of you. Prefer your own little cabin? Our two Crew Cabins are available at 30% less than a regular cabin. They are cosy single cabins at the front of the boat, accessed directly from the deck, and approximately 1.80 m long. Or simply book a private double cabin and enjoy your own space.
And yes… there’s air conditioning. We use it to cool the boat down in the evening before bedtime, so you can sleep comfortably even during those warm Mediterranean nights.

The Côte d’Azur from the best seat in the house
Imagine waking up, stepping onto the deck and diving straight into the Mediterranean. No traffic. No crowds. No alarm clock. Just blue water, sunshine, a gentle sea breeze and your next destination waiting around the corner.
Our sailing weeks start and finish in Port Pin Rolland, just next to Toulon and its international airport — an easy gateway to the Mediterranean.
From here we explore some of the most beautiful parts of the French Riviera and the Îles d’Hyères.
We’ll sail towards the glamour of Saint-Tropez, where you can wander through the famous streets, enjoy a drink at the harbour and admire the spectacular mega-yachts.
And then there’s Porquerolles — a completely different world. A beautiful Mediterranean island where cars are forbidden and the pace of life is wonderfully slow. Explore the village and harbour, cycle through the island, discover hidden beaches or simply find a shady spot and do absolutely nothing.
Because sometimes that’s exactly what a sailing holiday is supposed to be about.
Sailing, swimming, exploring… and enjoying yourself
Our days are deliberately relaxed.
We sail when the conditions are right, stop for swimming and snorkeling, discover beautiful bays and anchorages, and head ashore for dinner or drinks when there’s somewhere worth visiting.
Some evenings might mean a stylish beach restaurant and a bottle of rosé.
Other nights it could be dinner on board, anchored in a secluded bay, with the stars above you and nothing but the sound of the sea.
And yes, there will probably be some music, drinks, flirting and a little GaySail mischief along the way. 😉
You don’t need to be an experienced sailor. Your gay skipper takes care of the sailing and navigation, leaving you free to relax, meet the other guys and enjoy the journey.
Come alone, come with a friend, book a private cabin or join as a couple.
