Every year, Primavera Sound in Barcelona attracts musicians and music industry professionals from all over the world. As always, Austria will bringing its A-game to Primavera Pro – this year in the persons of XA Music Export Award winner FARCE and Austro-Spanish alternative pop duo ATZUR.

The FM4 Soundpark is a web platform, community, and radio show for Austrian musicians. Every month, one act is selected to be highlighted both online and on air: the Soundpark Act of the Month for May is Vienna rapper Donna Savage.

The new chamber opera Great Open Eyes, with music by Tyrolean composer Manuel Zwerger, deals with themes of grief and loss, drawing inspiration from Henrik Ibsen and real-life accounts.

From September 20 – 23, Europe’s largest showcase festival will once again be taking over the city of Hamburg. For artists, the Reeperbahn Festival is a springboard to Germany and a gateway to the wider world…and Austrian Music Export is looking for acts to represent the Alpine Republic in the far north of Germany! Last year, the showcase featured BIBIZA, Eli Preiss, AZE and LEFTOVERS – now it’s your turn!

“5 Million Pesos” is the monthly concert series by RadioKulturhaus Vienna and the Ö1 jazz department. The featured act in June 2023 is KO.AX.
