Re-issue of Wild Winter on 'Snowglobe Blizzard' Vinyl
Re-brew of the Wild Winter Ale
Anniversary Shows Announced
Let's turn the lights down, and be in candle light, like its always been through the centuries.

Or like it was ten years ago, when we recorded our winter classic, Wild Winter.

It doesn't matter that we recorded the album 10 years ago at the height of summer, eating ice lollies, we still put some tealights out and The Guardian still thought we'd 'bottled the chill of winter nights'.

And so, to celebrate 10 years since its festive release we are reissuing Wild Winter.

The repressed record comes on Limited Edition ‘Snowglobe Blizzard’ vinyl, icy white and both the LP and CD come repackaged with artwork originally illustrated by Jessica for the Wild Winter Ale that was created in collaboration with our friends at Signature Brew.

Signature Brew have dug out the old recipe that they created with the 'help' of us and Neil drinking lots of beer and adding cinnamon and star anise to it. We're not sure what ended up in it once the professional brewers took over but we have fond memories of everyone drinking it and then crying at our Wild Winter gigs.

We'll be trying to recreate that and hope you will be able to participate in the drinking and crying again at two celebratory shows in London and in Hastings just before Christmas.

Tickets go on sale to Smoke Fairies Patreons right now (see message on patreon for links to the Patreon Emporium Store) and on general sale Friday morning at 10am from Here.

The album will be released on 13th December and is available for pre-order now from our site directly and all good record shops.

Just in time for you to add it to your letters to Father Christmas.

The Guardian:
"Smoke Fairies bring an atmospheric elegance to Wild Winter, crafting songs that shimmer with cold beauty yet offer a warmth that pulls you in. It's as if they've bottled the chill of winter nights and added a glimmer of magic."

Mojo Magazine:
"With a haunting, spectral quality, Wild Winter stands apart from typical holiday fare. The album merges the chill of December with ethereal harmonies, resulting in an album that’s introspective and deeply haunting."

 Uncut:
"Wild Winter is a masterclass in mood. Smoke Fairies have created a winter album that embraces both darkness and light, offering a sound that’s both intimate and grand. Perfect for a snowy night’s contemplation."

We hope to see you at a show!
Smoke Fairies xx
