Year-end Eruv and Mikvah Fund Donations

Thank you to the families that have already contributed to the Eruv ($18) and Mikvah ($36) Funds. Just as a reminder, Arzei Darom (as did all of the shuls in Teaneck) agreed to collect on behalf of and pass along to the Eruv and the Mikvah donations from our members. Below is a brief description of each effort:

ERUV - The Eruv Committee incurs costs in inspecting and maintaining the eruv, which serves the entire Teaneck community. As a result, every family has been asked to contribute a minimum of $18 towards the Eruv fund to help cover these costs. We do hope that 100% of the membership will participate, at least minimally, and that those families who can afford to will consider giving more. Please make your checks out to the shul, and mark them clearly that they are for the Eruv. The shul will then transfer those funds to the Eruv Corporation.

MIKVAH - Similar to the Eruv fund, the Mikvah has asked that members voluntarily donate $36, through Arzei Darom, to the Mikvah. The donations are intended to cover the Mikvah to continue to operate both the main Mikvah and the Friday night Mikvah, which benefits the entire Teaneck Community. Please make your checks out to the shul, and mark them clearly that they are for the Mikvah. The shul will then transfer those funds to the Mikvah.

We all like kiddushes and we all make plans for lunch after shul so please be respectful of your fellow congregants by helping out during your assigned month if you are in shul. We also ask that you please watch your children during Kiddush to the extent possible, and to place their finished items in the garbage cans provided.
