HUMAN ENTITIES CONVERSATIONS ARE BACK

What we want from technology is rarely discussed. Human Entities 2021 brings this issue to light from different perspectives. The 5th edition of Human Entities kicks off on Wednesday, September 15, with a talk dedicated to the first proposal of the European Commission to regulate Artificial Intelligence. Will the new law limit or reinforce the power of tech companies? The four-session programme organised by the collective CADA focuses on culture in the age of artificial intelligence.

We return to the face-to-face conferences on the Common Field agenda. On October 13, studios AgwA (Belgium) and BAST (France) take the stage to present places, procedures and work choreographies, as well as their attitude in the built world, based on renovation works. In November, it's time to learn about the initiatives of Jack Self, founder of REAL — Real Estate Architecture Laboratory (UK), and the 51N4E studio (Belgium) to confront different modi operandi on designing the brief.

We’ve launched a commemorative postcard

Open House Lisbon

We went to Logroño in Spain to take part in a conversation to share visions about architecture and engage in a direct dialogue with the knowledge produced in Spain. In the middle of the public square, agents and collectives gathered and it was exciting to see a city transformed with ephemeral installations by the most diverse authors that propose a reflection to shift the experience of public space and meeting places in the city.
