Painting Workshop: Texture, Collage & Mixed Media!
October 17th, 10:00am to 12:00pm
$50 – includes all supplies!
This workshop focuses on the use of collage and mixed media to build unique textures within the painting surface. We will create textures and layers with acrylic paint and media, paper, graphite, collage, and stencils, exploring both additive and subtractive techniques! Learn to make a variety of patterns, shapes, marks and surfaces. No painting experience is necessary; step by step instruction is provided. Everything you need will be available in class. Just bring an apron if you’d like! If you have special paints or brushes you wish to use or collage material you’d like to include in your painting, feel free to bring them, too.
Artists of all levels of experience are welcome to participate in this workshop!
