A very Happy New Year to all PON subscribers.

Thank you all for your contributions and continued readership.

The year seems to have a flicked by at an alarming rate, but maybe that's just me ?  A full year with many events, too much to reflect upon here however there are a couple of things I would like to say.

It seems this last couple of years we have lost some really fine people from this little community, far too many have left us and we are so much the poorer for these losses.

We have seen some great community get together's this year with the Winter Festival, Fireshed and Elvina Bay dinners and the Floating Choir really bringing the community ever closer together. To the organisers behind all these, your efforts and dedication cannot be praised enough.  When we do things together as a community, we do them really well !

Your editor is taking a short break and will return in February. In the meantime my great colleague and former editor Paul Purvis will be keeping an eye on the PON emails for me. He will be only putting out important community notices during this time.

Happy New Year and thank you all again.

    Julian

Florence Terrace welcomes two new arrivals !!!

To Henry Thomas and to Akira …Welcome.

Both born on the 23rd December.
