Gefell Updates + New Price List for 2019
Website updates - we have been updating the Gefell section of the Sound-Link website recently. All the detailed product pages of the Gefell microphones are now up and running; more photographs will be added during the coming weeks, but there is now a lot of detail there including polar diagrams, frequency curves and data sheets.
New Price List - After keeping prices the same for over 7 years, Microtech Gefell have now issued a new price list valid from the 1st January 2019.
The increases have been kept to a minimum and Sound-Link has absorbed some of the increase to keep it as small as possible - in fact a few items have actually reduced in price as Gefell have looked closely at the actual manufacturing costs.
Sound-Link will honour the existing price list for all orders placed before the 31st December this year.
The new 2019 price list is on the website HERE

Coming early 2019, the Ravenna extend edition of ScoopTeam will enhanced the AES67 feature for intercom applications.
A new network module for AES67/Ravenna ecosystem enhances the number of supported AES67 streams for the ScoopTeam: 8 output streams and 5 input streams.
As AES67 spread the broadcast industrie, having more possibilities and more flexibility is a great asset, especially for our TV users.
With that enhanced Ravenna interface, ScoopTeam will be a major asset to succeed in your live sports commentaries!
Stay tuned for more details !
We will be exhibiting at BVE in February where experts from AETA will be on hand to show the new units.

John Willett is proud that his cousin, Peter Ketley (on the right), is currently rowing in the Talisker Atlantic Challenge and, if they finish, he will be the oldest man to row the Atlantic. His rowing partner is Neil Young and both of them were in The Parachute Regement (2.Para) in their younger days.
If you would like to follow them and/or donate, their website is HERE.
At the time of writing they have been rowing for over a week and are running 3rd in the pairs race.
