As we savor the final warmth of summer, here at ReBelle we are moving into full Fall mode. This means planning sweaters, eyeing those wool yarns again, and of course, learning some new skills to make those fall projects just a little (pumpkin) spicier. While we love our year round knitters and crocheters, we are always excited to see the seasonal stitchers start popping back in as the weather gets cooler. We have a lot of great stuff planned for the next few months and we would for you to join us. It's going to be a great season!!

We have fresh colors of Wonderland Yarn's Mary Anne! We just love this yarn, and apparently, y'all do too because we were down to almost nothing on the shelves! We've got 8 variegates and 4 of their Colorbursts, which are perfect for assigned pooling projects. Mary Ann is a 85% superwash merino 15% nylon fingering weight blend in a hefty 114g/475yd skein. It's perfect for socks, shawls, or really just about any project that needs a fingering weight. If you need some inspiration for using the Colorbursts here are some patterns that use assigned pooling: Pool Party Socks, Amplitude Beanie, Happy Clusters (hat), Fizz (cowl), Bubble Pop Shawl (crochet), Make Peace (wrap), and Float (shawl).

Have you met Torzal yet? It's the newest yarn from Malabrigo: a Sport/DK-weight, 2-ply yarn made from 100% Superwash Merino wool with a unique construction inspired by the look of handspun yarn.
Each skein is created by twisting together two plies, each dyed in the same signature Malabrigo colorway. The result is a beautifully balanced yarn with gentle depth, subtle movement, and a softly textured, handspun appearance that brings every stitch to life.
Torzal offers excellent stitch definition while remaining wonderfully soft, making it a perfect choice for sweaters, shawls, accessories, and textured projects of all kinds.
Malabrigo has also released the Torzal Cowl and the Duna Scarf patterns for this yarn or try the Iridaceace Hat or Mitts. The hardest thing is picking which one of the 16 beautiful colorways you should try first!

From the creators of PLY, we are excited to welcome PURL magazine into the shop. Using the same innovative model used for PLY, PURL will spend each issue deeply exploring a single topic from every possible angle – the how and why, the history, the experiments, the answers to things we thought we already knew. The first issue, Cast On, has articles and patterns by some of our favorites including Kate Atherley, Denise Bayron, Patty Lyons, Xandy Peters, Sarah Schira, and Wooly Wormhead.

Emma's Crazy Beautiful Color for the month of August is a vibrant, juicy blend of strawberry watermelon pinky reds and tropical, citrus-y yellow. Like a fruity, refreshing pink lemonade! As usual, this colorway pairs perfectly with several other Emma's colors including Cactus Flower, Briar Rose, Shake, Just Add Salt, and Frog It!

For the August shop KAL/CAL, we will be playing with short row shaping using the pattern of your choice. Whether you choose a project with a traditional short row shaping like socks or a sweater or you go with something more adventurous like short row colorwork, this is sure to be a fun month. If you need some help deciding on a project, Robyn created a Ravelry bundle ( https://ravel.me/spingirl/srf ) with several pattern ideas. She is also available if you need help finding a pattern for a particular set of yarns or a project type.
All ReBelle knit alongs are free and open to the public. You are welcome to attend as many or as few of the KAL sessions as you like.

It's that time again, time for another anniversary celebration and this is a really big one!! We will be doing all the same shenanigans- 10% off your entire purchase for wishing us a happy birthday, a special sale only yarn dyed by us for you, and so many prizes that you'll think it's your birthday. Along with a good dose of our usual silliness.
This year's theme is the Roaring '20s and our sale-only yarn is the bee's knees. It's a fingering weight 93% superwash merino and 7% gold lurex blend with 437 yards per 100g skein. That's right, we are going with gold sparkles for that art deco feel!!

Monthly Project Help Sessions
Whether you are stuck in the middle of a pattern and want some guidance, need some finishing help, or just need a bit of motivation, join Susan for her Project Help Sessions and get those outstanding projects done. No matter which fiber art you enjoy- knitting, crochet, weaving, felting, Susan can get you and your project back on track. Sessions will take place on the first Wednesday of most months and each group session is $20 for two hours and space is limited so register early.

Intro to Double Knitting
Double knitting is used to create a two-layer fabric with knit stitches on both sides and can be used to make reversible colorwork. All you need is two colors of worsted weight yarn (about 1 oz each) and the corresponding needles (US 7-9) and Susan will take you on a new adventure in knitting. It's easier than you think!!

Intermediate Crochet
Mastered the five basic stitches and wondering what to do next? Join Raellyn and take your crochet skills to the next level with his two part class. We will focus on learning new skills like working in the round, using the magic ring start, making flat circles, reading patterns and charts, creating complex stitches, and shaping your project with increases and decreases.
Basic crochet skills are required for this class. You will need to bring your favorite weight yarn and the appropriate size hook to work with in class.

Bumble the Bee
This quick and easy little bee will get you started into the world of Amigurumi. You will learn how to crochet in a spiral, change colors, shape your bee using increases and decreases, create separate wings and attach them, and use safety eyes to bring your bee to life.
Basic crochet skills, including chaining and single crochet, are necessary to participate in this class. For your bee, you will need to bring worsted weight yarn in two contrasting colors, plus some white for the wings, along with a D3 , E4, or F5 hook and a yarn needle for finishing. Safety eyes and fiberfill will be supplied.

African Flower Hexagons
Join Raellyn to learn how to make this beautiful flower motif that can be used for many different projects. Its modular design makes it perfect for all kinds of crocheted structures, from the beginning of a hat to scarves, blankets, and even stuffed animals.
This pattern requires basic crochet skills and is suitable for advanced beginners. We will learn how to crochet in the round, combine stitches to create more complex structures, and learn how color choices affect the overall look of your motif.
The African Flower can be made with any weight yarn and the appropriate size crochet hook. For this class, we will use four colors of worsted weight yarn and a US H8/5.0 mm crochet hook.

One Row Shawls
In this class, Susan will teach you how to knit 3 shawl shapes- a triangle, a crescent, and a scrappy rectangular shawl (complete with twisted fringe,) all knit by repeating the same row for the whole project!! This is the perfect class for new knitters or for knitters looking for a meditative project. With minimal effort and focus required for the shaping, you can focus on colors and textures you might want to mix into any of these projects.
You will need to bring some worsted weight yarn and corresponding needles to the class and together we’ll knit some lovely mini shawls!

Summer Breeze Headband
Looking for an easy project that works up quickly and make a great gift? This simple and lovely headband offers style and comfort and is suitable for babies, toddlers, children, and adults. Its versatile design is adjustable and fits anyone.
Basic crochet skills are required for this class, and we will be learning how to work on both sides of the foundation chain, using increases to create design elements, and working chains to create adjustable ties to fit anyone. This headband uses small amounts of worsted weight yarn and a US H8/5.0 mm hook.

You’ve got this! If you can do the knit stitch, you can knit this sweet little heart by Heidi Kirrmaier. The pattern uses simple increases and decreases that you will learn in class. Expand your knitting skills and let someone know that you love them with this little heart.

Cosy Quilt Socks
Like a quilt, these colorful socks can give your scrap yarns a new life or can be knit from 2 precious skeins of sock yarn. Either way, you’ll have a fun and colorful knit as well as a pair of cosy socks to show off this winter. With difficulty levels from Beginner to Challenging, Susan will help you to find just the right way to begin or to continue your stranded knitting journey. You will learn how to choose the correct size to knit, working with 2 colors, a short row heel, and a grafted toe.
This class is for you if you are comfortable knitting small projects in the round using any method you chose- dpns, magic loop, two circs, or flexiflips. Stranded knitting and sock construction experience are not necessary.

Rabea Scarf
Looking for something a little more exciting than the Sophie Scarf? Are you looking for a compelling pattern to knit for holiday gifts? The Rabea Scarf may be just what you need! Susan will teach you both how to knit the cables that give this scarf its delicate ruffle, and help you to master the increases and decreases that shape it. You can use a sock yarn for a fluffy, light scarf, or a heavier yarn for a scarf that’s quicker to knit- it’s up to you!
Bring your yarn and corresponding needles as well as a cable needle to the first class and get started on your new favorite knit.

Eternal Dawn Beanie
Looking for a new cute hat with some personality to keep away the chill? The Eternal Dawn Beanie is a lightweight hat that will charm you with how easy it is to make. It looks amazing in solids or subtly variegated yarns, and works up quickly from simple crochet stitches that are easy to remember.
Basic crochet skills are required for this class. We will learn how to start with a magic ring, work in the round and make the mini bean stitch. This hat uses about 125 yards of worsted weight yarn and a US I9 / 5.5mm crochet hook.
