Huntsville Home Burglary
About a month ago, Huntsville resident Jack Davis' home was broken into and burglarized. The crooks apparently entered through the back door and exited through the front, and it is assumed they were looking for drugs/medications. It is likely that the perpetrators had a knowledge of Mr. Davis' schedule, and he feels it was probably a male and female team due to some clues left behind.
The time of entry was likely in the afternoon/early evening. Suspiciously, they left obvious items of value and took other items that are difficult to replace, such as a brief case with important papers.
Mr. Davis said we could mention his name and he wants to get the word out that he keeps no drugs or meds at his home.
There have been at least two daytime burglaries that I know of in Huntsville during the past year or so, and we all must keep a vigilant eye out for our homes as well as our neighbors. If you see ANYTHING suspicious, be sure to call the Weber County Sheriff's office.
Graffiti
Sad, but true. It was pointed out recently that a large dumpster in town has some new spray paint grafitti. This is very likely a local vandal, so parents please help us out with some gentle education. Enough said.
That’s all for now, have a great week.
Sincerely,
Richard L. Sorensen
Huntsville Town Council
