Singapore Athletics is proud to present the formation of its first Athletes Commission.The Commission will serve as a conduit between the Singapore Athletics management committee (MC) and the athletes that the Athletes’ Commission represents as well as to create and promote programmes that support the development of these athletes. As a voice for the athletes and with a place at the table for MC meetings, the Commission will communicate the concerns and interests of athletes to the MC. Dear all, thank you for coming to SAA’s National Athletes meeting.

 

SAA conducted the 3rd Athletes, Coaches & Parents Engagement & Dialogue Session on 2nd & 3rd April.

 

The SAA Management Committee members from this session would like to regularly engage with our Athletes, Coaches and Parents reiterating our philosophy of being Athlete-centric, Coach-led and Team-driven.

 

The meeting also updates stakeholders on the development of Singapore Athletics and the scene.

 

SAA from such engagement would have the opportunity to share competition results.

 

It is also a session to acknowledge and honour athlete achievements.

 

It is SAA’s duty to inform stakeholders of the resources and support available for athletes & coaches.

 

By attending such meeting, stakeholders will be aware of the sharing of SA’s Competition Plan, Selection criteria and funding processes.

 

It is also an open dialogue session between athletes, coaches and parents.

 

It is an evening of building trust, quality relationships and bringing the Athletics community together.
