President's
Corner
Oh my, it’s the last newsletter
of the year on the last day of
the year! I can’t believe it. It
just seems like yesterday that I
was wondering what 2014 would
bring. It brought plenty. Call
me fickle but it’s time to look
ahead; out with 2014, and here
comes 2015. TWITA!!! Yes, bring
on the New Year, and all the
promise that it seems to
encapsulate. Before that can
happen, though, I think it’s
important to look at 2014, and
ask myself, what am I grateful
for? In short, here’s my
answer:
The support of my true friends,
family, daughters and
girlfriend. This year has been a
challenge, but without the
amazing people in my life, it
would have been even tougher.
My wonderful creative processor,
collaborator and mainstay Debbie
Berry, I couldn’t do it all
without you. Once in a while
when you find people who are a
joy to work and associate with,
it not only makes everything
easier, it nurtures your soul.
My Mentors both past and
present, I’d be nowhere without
you. Some of you know who you
are and others may not have a
clue. As I do every year, I
have learned so much from so
many and it makes me who I am in
my personal and professional
life.
All of my bass fishing quests.
If you know me, then you know I
can’t say enough about my bass
fishing adventures.
All the Note Investors that have
worked with me this year; not
just on the transactions that
closed but also the transactions
that never materialized. As we
all do in the note business,
you’ve given so much of
yourselves and your time.
My weekly walking group. You
are amazing people; generous,
funny, sarcastic, and just as
determined to get your 10,000
steps a day as I am.
There are so many people who
have stood by me this year, and
I want to thank each and every
one of you. My fear in naming
you all is, that knowing me,
I’ll miss someone. I’m looking
forward to the New Year and
seeing, working, collaborating
with all of you… and thanking
you in person.
I have a feeling, 2015 isn’t
about IF the note business is
gaining momentum, it’s going to
be about how much momentum it
WILL gain.
Remember,
Success
Demands Action! Keep on
marketing, it’s going to work!
