Wait, is fall finally here?!? Bring on the crisp days, hot apple cider, corn mazes, and cozy knit/crochet projects to curl up in, we are ready!! We have started casting on sweaters in anticipation of that first sweater worthy day. It's no surprise this is our favorite time of the year!!

We have actively been filling the shop back up after the anniversary event last month. We have big restocks of Katrinkles and Lemonwood including old and new favorites. The Cascade, Malabrigo, Berroco, Emma's, and Juniper Moon have been refreshed and we have added some great new local products including interchangeable keys by Wild Blue Yarnder and some handmade ceramic buttons by Sarah.

New In The Shop

You might have already seen the Wool Addicts Move from Lang Yarns, but we thought we should reintroduce it with it's sisters- Prisma and Twister. Three yarns, three weights, and so many colors in each ball!! Wool Addicts Move is a fingering-weight blend of 75% merino wool and 25% nylon- 100g, 400m. Prisma is a worsted-weight, 100% superwash merino- 100g, 180m. Finally, there is Twister, a chunky-weight 100% superwash merino- 100g, 100m. No matter which one you pick, you just need a project with a simple stitch pattern and the yarn will do the heavy lifting turning the ordinary in to the extraordinary. It's any maximalist's dream!!

Explore a colorful world of crochet creativity with The Bright & Bold Granny Square Card Deck from Cascade Yarns. The deck features 50 vibrant granny square designs in individual card form making it easy to mix and match designs to plan your next crochet project.

Each card shows a photograph of the finished granny square on the front, while the reverse includes a crochet chart to guide crocheters through the stitch pattern. Spark new ideas with five sample patterns in the accompanying booklet, which also includes a helpful guide to understanding crochet charts. Expand your stitch library and discover endless inspiration for creative expression with this fun and interactive deck for crocheters of all skill levels.

Emma's Yarn Crazy Beautiful Color for October 2026 is a treat! Delicious like a yummy sprinkled donut on a cool autumn morning. It pairs beautifully with Navy Blazer, Over The Moon, new color “Mull It Over”, Glazed Donut, and Ladies and Magentlemen. Las month's color sold out before we had the chance to share so if you want this one, you'll want to act fast!!
The 2026 Emma's Yarns Smalliday Sets are here!! This year's theme is "Way Down in Kokomo" so we are expecting an explosion of those classic Floridian colors we have always loved from Emma's. We went with the Practically Perfect Smalls for this year's kits which we know are your favorites.

Smalliday Sets are Emma's version of advent sets- the idea is you open one “Small” a day during the holidays! Each mini skein is individually wrapped and meant to be kept secret until the first color is opened December 1, and another each day after for 24 days total. It’s a great gift for your favorite fiber artist or a treat for yourself.

Each set includes 24 mini skeins in brand-new colors, a Little Bee Lotion Bar, a special stitch marker, an Emma’s Yarn sticker, and pattern suggestions for the set.

Events at ReBelle

For the month of October, we will be celebrating Socktober by knitting or crocheting socks during our Thursday knit along sessions. Toe up, cuff down, dpns, magic loop, flat, or even crochet, all socks are welcome.  Each person will pick their own pattern that falls in the category of socks and we will knit/crochet them together.

Robyn created a Ravelry bundle with several pattern ideas if you need some help finding the perfect pattern. She is also available if you need help finding a pattern for a particular yarn.

All ReBelle knit alongs are free and open to the public. You are welcome to attend as many or as few of the KAL sessions as you like.

Beginning Sock Knitting

Do socks intimidate you? When you hear the phrase: "turn a heel" does your blood run cold? Well, Susan is here to take the scariness out of your first pair of socks. In this class, you will be using Rye Worsted, a Tin Can Knits beginning sock pattern (free on Ravelry), with worsted weight yarn that is knit at a tight gauge (22st/4 inches). We love this pattern because it has great diagrams and tutorials that really help a first time sock knitter move from newbie to expert in no time! With Susan's help, you're gonna have the snazziest looking feet in Lexington. Never fear socks again!

Note: Double points are used for this particular pattern to help illustrate sock construction.

Hashtag Sochi

Mosaic knitting is one of the easiest types of 2 color knitting, colorwork effects are created by simply using slipped stitches. With mosaic charts and only one color at a time, Susan will help you to learn the secrets of mosaic knitting. The results? A striking cowl, ready to wear as the weather is cooling.

Choose 2 contrasting colors of DK yarn (Malabrigo has some luscious blends) and a 16” circular needle. If you can knit and purl, this cowl is for you!

Fringeship Shawl

Looking for a unique knit?  Feeling brave?  The FringeShip Shawl is a self-fringing, garter stitch shawl that can be knit in any size and at any gauge. The catch?  The fringe is created by cutting steek stitches that you knit into your shawl. Using a clever combination of increases and decreases, this shawl is a fun and funky knit!

For the class, we will knit a mini version of the shawl, so that you can practice cutting the steeks.  Bring some stash yarn, about 50 grams, of any weight, and corresponding needles.
