October leaves are falling, Autumn is in its full swing, so are we! We hope you are too!

I am still marvelling over my 65th birthday year, which started on July 31. I’m so grateful for the wonderful memories of my life, traveling to so many places and sharing my music. The best has yet to come!

The falling leaves we saw, riding our bikes to the ADE (Amsterdam Dance Event) Lab workshops in mid-October, inspired us to create new music, and we are eager to share it with you! We're already playing some of these pieces live, but we plan to record them in a studio and release them on streaming platforms, and perhaps on CD or LP albums!

It was super exciting to bring our original music live to audiences at our recent India tour with the Saskia Laroo Band and Jazzkia. We played at some amazing festivals, venues, and events. Highlights include:
- ZIRO: ZIRO Festival (Sep 26) & ZIRO Literary Festival (Sep 25)
- DELHI: Jazz Weekender (Sep 29), at the India International Center (IIC) (Oct 3), and Netherlands Embassy (Sep 27)
- AHMEDABAD: World Peace Day (Sep 21), street concerts (Sep 19 & 20), and the "From Bebop To Hiphop" workshop (Sep 22)

Exciting news:
- Our performance in Qatar for the European Festival is set for December 8 with Duo Laroo/Byrd.
- We’re planning a UK tour in August 2025 with the Saskia Laroo Band.

In the meantime we keep on gigging at our favorite local spots.
- We played Jazz, Funk, Hiphop To The Max in the Netherlands at Music Cafe Stiels, Haarlem on Oct 11: see @theCultMixSessions
