APRIL ITINERARY BOTTOM OF PAGE

( from book "Hide Myself in Thee")
PRAISE—A WAY OF LIFE

ANNETTE, SON IN COLLEGE
She not able to work,
Short on money, Car falling apart,
Cupboards almost bare.

SHE PRINTED PRAISE PRAYERS
From Prayer Strategy Resource Book
Plus other promises on praise.
She cut them apart and taped them on the wall
At eyelevel in every room of the house.
She would read them three or more times daily.

SHE WOULD SING PRAISES
Then was asked to sing in a praise group
In her church in front of the assemble.

WHAT JOY FILLED HER HEART
And her mind
As she continued to praise God

EVEN IN THE POOR WORN OUT CAR
She had praise taped to the dash.
She knew God was going to find a better car
If she stayed on course.

PRAISE OPENED EVERY DOOR
As her son finished school
And it was time to move to a new job.
No money, car not good enough to drive.
They told no one their need.

WITHIN THREE DAYS
A van was give them, keys and title.
Woman wrote check for moving van,
17 people came to help pack and load moving van.
People came with money for trip.
Basket of food for trip.
Every need was supplied.

WHEN THEY REACHED THE TOWN
Where son Jon had his job,
Found house to rent, no down payment,
Pay rent when Jon got first pay check.
The owners were like family.

HOW ANNETTE LEARNED
The life of praise.

AS A YOUNG WIFE, ANNETTE
Wanted children, but lost many babies before birth.
Finally adopted Jon, her cherished son.
Her husband then left her.

VISITING HER PARENTS
Parents house burned, her Mother died in the fire,
Her precious 9 year old Jon’s body badly burned.
Many years operations for Jon followed.
Such struggles, lacks on every side.

ALL SHE HAD WAS GOD,
She had to depend only on Him
She learned the secret of
Living a life of praise.

GOD TOOK HER THROUGH
Step by step.
He was never late.
She learned she could Trust in God.

NOW JON HAS GRADUATED
From College, with several degrees.
Has a good Job.

Habakkuk 3:17-18 NKJV Though the fig tree does not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; though the flock may be cut off from the fold, and there be no herd in the stalls…..Yet, I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
