DELIA’S Embarks on the Next Frontier as Tide Dry Cleaners

DELIA’S Founder Phil D’Elia takes his valued customers through his journey in becoming Tide Dry Cleaners
Fifty thousand Valley-wide residents have gone through the doors of DELIA’S Dry Cleaners over the past nearly 25 years. Many of these valued guests may have noticed a revamped look and a new name being rolled out over the past few months. If you haven’t heard yet, we are excited to announce that DELIA’S has rebranded to Tide Dry Cleaners. Founder and president of DELIA’S, Phil D’Elia, recently shared his journey in the dry cleaning business, and explains whyhe has made the move to become Tide Dry Cleaners.
Phil’s dad was in the dry cleaning business in 1969 in the Bay Area where Phil was born and raised. His father grew a chain of 80 locations in the Greater Bay Area, and Phil’s first job was sweeping sidewalks on Saturdays outside of those dry cleaning stores.

In the weeks following our announcement that our DELIA’S Cleaners locations are converting to Tide Dry Cleaners, our customers had a lot of questions. The most common question being - “Why change to Tide Dry Cleaners®?” And to that, we say “What could be better than the same great DELIA’S service backed by Power of Tide®?” The below is an outline of what our valued customers can expect with this exciting new roll-out.

Thank you for your generosity! With your help, DELIA’S Cleaners and Tide Dry Cleaners delivered thousands of pounds of clothing to Hope Women’s Center. We want to extend a huge thank you to our customers and community members for making this important drive an enormous success. Your donations will help at-risk women and girls in the Phoenix area.

Sometimes it’s just too difficult to even get out of the car! We get it. Whether it’s bad weather or a car full of kids, to running late or having difficulty getting in and out of the car, things don’t always go according to plan.
With Tide Dry Cleaners and DELIA’S Cleaners Valet Service, you can drop off or pick up items without ever leaving your vehicle – sometimes both on the same trip. You can pay the guest service representative who meets you, or use a credit card that’s kept securely on file for even faster service. Our Tide Dry Cleaners and DELIA’S Cleaners express bags make this service even more convenient. Each bag is labeled and linked to directly to an individual customer account. All you do is fill up the bag with your items and drop it off. Our guest service representatives will create your order using heat seals on items we’ve cleaned previously and will record important details for any new items.
