In the November issue of Geo, an evocation of the secrets of the Saka civilisation with the publication of "forgotten people of the steppes", a journey to the sources of Kazakh identity, a major geopolitical issue for a young country of an old nation. A new chapter in my photographic work on Kazakhstan, with a fascinating text by Mélanie Gouby.

Toujours réjouissant de voir naître un nouvel espace photo et encore plus d’être associé à l’exposition inaugurale. Sous l'impulsion de son créateur et directeur artistique, Dominique Leroux, mon travail sur Wakaliwood, l'inénarrable Action Comedy studio de Kampala, a fait l'ouverture de la Maison de la Photographie de Brest. L’occasion d’une mention dans le Télégramme et d'une visite guidée pour conclure deux mois d'exposition. Moment d'échanges, de questionnement et de plaisir.
"Wakaliwood" sera exposé en Inde, à l'Alliance Française de Pune du 29 janv. au 1er fév. et à l'Alliance Française de Pondichéry du 16 fév. au 1er mars. Si vous passez par là.
It's always great to see the birth of a new photo space, and even better to be associated with the inaugural exhibition. Under the impetus of its creator and artistic director, Dominique Leroux, my work on Wakaliwood, the hilarious Action Comedy studio in Kampala, opened the Maison de la Photographie in Brest. It was the occasion for a mention in the Télégramme and a guided tour to round off the two-month exhibition. A moment of exchange, questioning and pleasure.
"Wakaliwood" will also be exhibited in India, at the Alliance Française of Pune from 30 Jan. to 4th Feb. and at the Alliance Française of Pondichéry from 16 Feb. to 1 March. If you happen to be passing by.

Réminiscence de deux photos d'archives prises dans la région frontalière entre Darfour et Tchad, publiées dans 1843, le magazine digital de The Economist, pour accompagner la nouvelle: "L'homme qui a échappé deux fois au génocide - Les réfugiés du Darfour sont furieux que le monde ignore leur sort".
Reminiscent of two archive photos taken in the border region between Darfur and Chad, published in 1843, The Economist's digital magazine, to accompany the novel: "The man who escaped genocide twice - Darfur refugees are furious that the world is ignoring their plight".
