Dear Neighbors,

Here are updates as we head into March, and say farewell to a very ❄️ snowy ❄️ February❄️

🪏Volunteer Snow Removal Program Supporting Vulnerable Residents🪏
Mayor Jabbour and the City Council have created a City Volunteer Snow Removal Program to assist elderly residents and individuals with disabilities unable to safely clear snow and ice from their homes or vehicles after a major winter storm.  The volunteer snow removal program is off to a great start — with two major storms in the books! Thanks to Hoboken’s Head of Constituent Services, Nora Martínez DeBenedetto, for working so hard on getting this program off the ground in the midst of major snowstorms causing a State of Emergency to be announced citywide. Our volunteers have shoveled out tens of qualifying residents’ cars or properties.  Volunteers clear entranceways, sidewalks, and driveways, as well as cars, and on-street ADA parking spots.
I love this program. It reflects who we are. In times of need, Hoboken always comes together —  neighbors helping neighbors. Would you like to volunteer? Are you 16 or older? You can learn more about the program here, and click here to volunteer!

🎭The Young King is Playing Now at Mile Square Theatre 🎭
Mile Square Theatre is Hoboken’s own not-for-profit theater company with terrific offerings for audiences of all ages. I’m pleased to feature in my newsletter MST’s current production The Young King running through March 8, 2026
Based on the fairy tale by Oscar Wilde, this immersive production follows a naïve boy raised by shepherds who discovers he is heir to a kingdom. The story asks a powerful question for audiences of all ages: What is true leadership? Get your tickets here.
