Ross' Refrain
Wonderful singing with you all again!
As we prepare for rehearsals, spending a little time with some of the videos on our website can get you familiar with what these songs sound like. Different languages (Zamar), and more complex pieces (Desh) can be especially good to listen to ahead of time.
We will have more hard copies of the Friendship Round text on Monday, but here's a link for that as well.
See you Monday!"

What a great start to the semester! Our membership numbers are up a bit, we have some new members, and I see some faces from years past rejoining us.
We're happy to welcome Domo as our accompanist and if we cross our fingers and treat him well....... maybe he'll come back as long as he's able!
For our newcomers, Ross never leaves any of us behind regardless of our abilities or methods of learning so don't despair! It really does come together by concert time.
Thanks to Ross for a diverse and slightly challenging repertoire, as always; there is truly some beautiful music here.
See you all on Monday!

The Voices Newsletter is sent out every Thursday during the semester. Sometimes, it may be a day late depending on glitches and brain cramps. In normal times, it will appear in your email in-basket sometime during the day on Thursday. It will also be posted on the website - click HERE to go to that page.
If you have a question about Voices, a comment or suggestion about the newsletter, or if you have an item for the newsletter (items should be related to the chorus or the local musical community), send it to voicesnews@acithaca.org. PLEASE - if you have an item that you want to appear in the newsletter, send in in plain text completed form so we can copy and paste - we do not write material for you. |
