Election times are hard times and specially if ones relatives are also a candidate. The story planted by one source using the office of Chairman NIRC, relates to a decision by the Council in its 281st Meeting in the year 2013. The minutes are supposed to be available on the site of the Institute and is a public document.
In any case the alleged report is not a report but internal document seeking information on procedure being followed. This should have been taken up by the Chairman NIRC. Instead he preferred character assaassination of one rival candidate.
I personally pointed out to the President about this mischief and he categorically stated that no such statement has been given by him.
I also communicated our anger to Mr. Gautam Dutta of Business Standard and he is looking into the details.
I request everyone to desist from maligning institute to score political points. You may win or loose but interest of the institute should not be compromised.
