After last week’s game it can become frustrating to focus on what’s going wrong on the field. So let’s take a week to focus on what WNY is known for off the field – great food and amazing generosity.  It’s time for the Annual Bills Backers of Boston Charity Day!
Sunday Mike Mularkey and Poz return to the Ralph for what we can hope is a rough day for the Jags as they take on our Bills.
Kickoff is at 1pm.  Harp opens at 11am.
Here’s a rundown on the special events for Charity Day:
The Food
The Beef on Weck Buffet is back! We’ll be offering Beef on Weck sandwiches for $4 each (similar to the Mighty Taco Buffet). And thanks to the generosity of the Harp and Wegmans Northborough for donating the food, ALL proceeds from the sandwiches go to charity! Cheers to both for your support. (We’ll also have our regular gameday bar menu available.)
The Giveaways
50/50 Raffle – $1 per ticket, 6 for $5.
We’ll be selling raffle tickets for a 50/50 drawing in the 2nd half of the game. Half goes to charity, half goes to the winner. Good Luck!
Prize Raffle – $1 per ticket, 6 for $5.
We’ll be selling raffle tickets for various prizes to be given out throughout the game. Prizes include: Buffalo Bills Gear (pennant, hats, shirts, etc), Mighty Taco Gear (fleece blanket, hoodie, etc), a Wegmans gift basket, and more! We’ll have the prizes up on the stage for everybody to see pregame.
The Charity
The relationship within the state between WNY’ers and those New Yorkers south of the Tappan Zee Bridge can be contentious at times. (And that’s not even considering the feelings many Bills fans feel towards Jets fans...) We joke, but a lot of people are still struggling in the tri-state area from the storm damage, and we felt a donation to the Red Cross to help the recovery effort would be a great cause for this season. So come on out for Charity Day and help support the Red Cross by enjoying some beef on weck, Bills football, and maybe even win a prize or two!
Thanks again for your continued support of the group. There’s been a lot of tough games this year but also some bright spots with CJ tearing it up and the defense finally putting some pressure on opposing qb’s. We look forward to seeing you all on Sunday!
