The exhibitor lineup also includes KWS (onboard and identification systems), HERZ (biomass boilers and heat pumps). Hitachi Zosen Inova is a global leader in energy from waste (EfW), delivering complete turnkey plants for energy recovery from waste. “The landfill restrictions in Bulgaria are pushing more municipalities and companies to look for more responsible and environmentally friendly waste management solutions” - comments Nikola Ovcharov, Manager by Geocycle Bulgaria - exhibitor at seeSUSTAINtec. Fimic specializes in the design and manufacture of automatic and self-cleaning screen changers for plastic recycling. Its GEM is the largest filtering surface using just two filters and two valves. Menart delivered a new waste treatment facility in Bulgaria in 2019 - the company is developing highly efficient composting machinery.

News from Bulgaria
• The Bulgarian Development Bank plans to invest at least 15% of its credit portfolio in energy-saving and eco-innovation projects. This was announced by the CEO of the Bank Stoyan Mavrodiev during the Annual Economic Forum for Central and Eastern Europe, held in Vienna these days.
• The market for eco-technologies in South-East Europe keeps expanding due to new regulations, industries and municipalities’ necessity for decreasing their ecological footprint and achieving more efficiency. Sustainable infrastructure, environment and climate action, innovations and digitalization will be among the EU funding priorities of the next Programming Period 2021 – 2027, which will stimulate further investment opportunities in Bulgaria.
