TSE All-Share Index
Tehran’s All-Share Index started the week with significant gains, closing up 3.33% at 102,452. Almost all sectors rose, led by Chemicals (+5.02%). The weakest sector of the day was Ceramics & Tiles (-1.72%). Base Metals (+3.21%) posted the highest trading volume of IRR 1,006 billion (approx. USD 23.7 million). Stocks moving the All-Share Index most were Esfahan Mobarakeh Steel Co. (FOLD +4.99%), Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Co. (PKLJ +5.00%) and Telecommunication Company of Iran (MKBT +8.12%). The highest trading volume was posted by Esfahan Mobarakeh Steel Co. (FOLD +4.99%) with IRR 724 billion (approx. USD 17 million). In total 1,821 billion securities were traded on the TSE for IRR 5,491 billion (approx. USD 130 million), up 26.1% from the previous trading session on Wednesday.
TSE30 Index
The TSE30 index of the thirty largest companies by market capitalization added 3.84% to close at 4,901. All constituents ended in the green, with Telecommunication Company of Iran (MKBT +8.12%) gaining the most. Total traded value of the top 30s amounted to IRR 2,433 billion (approx. USD 57.3 million).
