In this issue:
Special Edition mics for Gefell's 90th
2018 is the 90th anniversary of the company Georg Neumann founded in 1928 and who still own Microtech Gefell.

To celebrate this milestone Gefell are producing special edition microphones which will be available from June.

The special editions are:

CMV 563 / M7S

M 300 series
(M300, M310 & M320)

UM 92.1S
M 92.1S

M 930 series
(M930, M940, M950)

These special editions are the same price as the standard editions and advance orders are being taken now.  The special editions (available in the same finishes as the standard versions) have the special 90th Anniversary medal attached and have special serial numbers.

NB: It's important that you state that the Special Edition version is required when you order

Sound-Link now distribute AETA's codec range
Sound-Link are now also distributing AETA's range of high quality broadcast Codecs and have already started delivering to discerning clients.

AETA are already well known for their extremely high quality audio and this high audio quality is incorporated into their high quality, affordable, codec range.

All AETA codecs come with a SIP account as standard, included in the price, with the option of upgrading to the Premium service at a nominal cost.  Info is here
With the new AETA Remote Access feature, you can now control all the parameters of your codecs remotely and in real time via the Internet, including via 4G mobile networks.

This new remote control option is now available on the full range of AETA Audio Systems codecs running through IP.
(Scoop5-S / Scoop5S-IP / µScoop / Scoopy+S / ScoopFone 4G / ScoopFone IP / Scoopy+S / ScoopTeam)

The brand new AETA "Double Streaming" feature is an efficient way of strongly increasing the robustness of an AoIP link, thanks to a redundant link that can compensate for losses on the main link.

Double Streaming is available through a simple software update for the following AETA products: ScoopTeam (V1.05), Scoopy+ S (V.1.11), Scoop5 S and Scoop5 S-IP (V.1.11), µScoop (V1.07)

If you already have old AETA codecs, AETA offer an exchange service to take back the old units and swap them for new ones at a special price - please contact us if you wish to take advantage of this and we will give you all the details.  This is the ideal solution should you wish to upgrade to the latest services AETA are now offering.
