President's
Corner
I met some great people at last
weeks Note Investor Summit in
San Diego. One of the
over-riding things that I took
away from it was that so many
people have questions about
notes and the note business and
they didn't know where to get
the answers until they came to
the event.
There’s nothing wrong
with asking for help. As a note
professional you are not
expected to be a
jack-of-all-trades. No one is!
You’ll always have questions,
and, let’s hope, you’ll always
be learning how to answer them.
In the meantime, when you are
looking for solutions to your
problems, make sure you ask
other current practicing note
professionals.
There is nothing wrong with
having a few people you can rely
on for advice. Some may call
them coaches, mentors, Master
Buyers or whatever. The best
part about it is that most of
these types of people will do
this for free, within reason.
It’s their way of giving back to
the note industry.
So, go out there and find
yourself one or more note
professionals that you respect
and build a relationship with
them because if you think you
already have all the answers you
need, you’ll be in for a
surprise.
Remember,
Success
Demands Action! Keep on
marketing, it’s going to work!

Question of
the Week
Q
- Hi Jeff,
What is the minimum and maximum note size that you have closed on over the
years?
~ Hank
A - Hi Hank!
Thanks for the email! The smallest note I ever did was a note with a
$5,512 balance that I bought for myself. The largest note I ever closed on
was $1,849,263 that I made .005% on (one half of one percent) as my broker fee.
Hope this helps! TWITA!
~ Jeff
