Since my last newsletter I have been busy on a number of fronts. In April I attended the national Nonprofit Technology Conference (NTC 2010) in Atlanta and spent an action packed three days learning about technology and social media for nonprofits. I have been sharing new ideas for nonprofits and social media in workshops and consulting and will be blogging about this subject during the summer.
I am excited that Kivi LeRoux Miller, a well know nonprofit marketing consultant will be a guest blogger on my blog this Friday, June 18th. Kivi is going on a “virtual book tour” to promote her new book The Nonprofit Marketing Guide: High-Impact, Low-Cost Ways to Build Support for Your Good Cause. Kivi will be guest blogging as part of the tour. If you buy the book on June 18th and forward the receipt to Kivi you'll be entered to win a free "website review for social media readiness" from me.
I attended two of Kivi’s sessions at NTC 2010 and she is dynamic and smart. This comprehensive book is rated 5 stars at Amazon and is quickly becoming THE book to have for nonprofit marketing. Be sure to check my blog on Friday, June 18th.
