Election Day Voting

7 am - 8 pm
Huntsville Town Hall
Election Judge Gail is getting bored and would love to have you stop by the town hall for a visit.
Just a gentle reminder that your blue recycling cans will be dumped this Monday...
Place your blue can along side and 5 feet away from your black can for pickup on Monday morning.
If you recycling can is overflowing (more recyclables than trash) as I have heard many are, keep in mind that the newspaper recycling bin is still available at the old Valley School building.  If you need the extra space in your blue can then you may consider dumping your newspapers in the School bin.
Weed Eradication and Mowing:
Per the recently passed Weed Eradication resolution and our nuisance ordinance, our town tractor will be available during the next few weeks to mow and/or trim your weeds, pastures, etc.  The fee, which includes both tractor and driver, is $45 per hour with a one hour minimum.  The minimum is simply to make it worthwhile to transport the tractor to your location and you are welcome to combine jobs with your neighbors if you wish.  Most 3/4 acre lots can be mowed in 1 hour or less.

Call the town hall at 745-3420 to schedule your mowing.
Green Waste Facility To Reopen On Wednesday Evenings:
The Green Waste Facility will reopen on Wednesday evenings beginning October 14, 2009... to accommodate residents with their fall clean up.  It will be open on Wednesdays from 6:30 p.m. to dark and Saturday's 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
That's All For Now - Have a nice week,
