ACTION ALERT: 3 Ways You Can Support VSC's Work

Hello
VSC would like to thank everyone who has supported our expanded campaigning work in recent months as the US " placed Venezuela on the regime change fast track," by first introducing sanctions & then introducing a Presidential Executive Order declaring a "national emergency" with regards to Venezuela.
Here in Britain, VSC has had over 500 people attend recent events, brought together statements published here & in Venezuela from 50 leading trade unionists, students, prominent progressive women, & peace & anti-war campaigners denouncing US intervention into Venezuela, & with your support achieved an incredible 116 national politicians signing a statement against US sanctions
At a vital time for Venezuela - with national elections later in the year being accompanied by an increasing wave of international media misrepresentation - VSC has a lot to do. We only have 1 full time staff member, accompanied by committed volunteers, so your support is vital to our work.
Below are 3 key ways you can help support Venezuela at this crucial time:

1) Join the VSC & Affiliate Your Organisation - Becoming a member is the best way you can support us & become involved. A growing, active membership is vital to our ability to provide solidarity. Membership is only £18 (£9 concessions) & includes a subscription to our magazine. You can join by post using the form here or if you join online here you also receive a free Revolution Will Not Be Televised DVD. (Please note that just because you receive our emails does not mean you are a paid-up member - please email if you would like us to check.)

2) Donate to help us Cover the Increased Costs of our Expanding Work - If you are already a member, you can make a one-off donation here to help us cover the costs of increasing our solidarity campaigning, such as producing new campaign materials & organising more regular events to tell the truth about Venezuela.

3) Register for the Rally for Venezuela (June 4) & invite your friends on Facebook - you can also help spread the word by forwarding the e-flyer below. Let's make this our best event yet as we celebrate our 10th anniversary!

Your support is much appreciated both here & internationally - our friends & partners in Venezuela regularly tell us how important our international solidarity is.

Best wishes & many thanks for your support,
Matt Willgress, VSC National Co-Ordinator
