Here is your BNF Healthy Eating Week update. Look out for more regular updates from us now as the Week is getting closer!

Join our free 'Sleep well' webinar on Wednesday 1 May, 8pm

Sleep well is our new challenge for 2019. Come and watch our live webinar to find out about sleep/wake cycles, how sleep might affect our health and bodyweight, sleep recommendations for children and adults and how to get a good night’s sleep. To join the webinar live on Wednesday, simply follow this link (or paste it into your browser): https://zoom.us/j/943840872

Challenge guides

A simple one-sided guide is now available for each of the five BNF Healthy Eating Week challenges. The guides explain the health messages associated with each challenge and how they can be achieved. These can be found in the primary schools or secondary schools areas (the guides are the same for both primary and secondary schools).

General resources

Visit our General resources area to find your BNF Healthy Eating Week 2019 bunting, challenge tracker and certificate! Our bunting is also available in Welsh!

Download these now in preparation for the Week!

National sleep survey

We will be undertaking a national sleep survey in May 2019. To get involved, organise computer access for your class on one of the days between Tuesday 14 May and Friday 17 May 2019. The short survey will ask pupils to report on their sleep from the previous night. The survey is expected to take around 5-10 minutes to complete.

Logos and icons!

Our five challenge icons are available to download!

These can be used to create resources and display items for use within your school or nursey to support your plans for BNF Healthy Eating Week! The icons are available in their respective challenge areas in both the
primary schools or secondary schools areas. The icons are also available in Welsh!
