Dear Refirement members,
The change of seasons has been vicious across South Africa this past week. It feels like the changes we are experiencing in the changing world of work. I remember a few years ago, that Graeme Codrington predicted that the change we were feeling around 2007/8 was like a tsunami. He explained that in 2007 what we were feeling was like the water leaving the beach and that the tsunami wave would start to hit around 2015. We are now in 2017 and I can feel how this technology is accelerating and changing the world of work exponentially.
This can be scary, but part of life is about being brave and courageous and stepping out of our comfort zone. I have started offering online courses to walk alongside those who are keen to be brave and understand this new world of work.
This newsletter includes the results from a survey, more about the online courses, and two great articles on the future world of work.
Enjoy, engage and be brave.
