CHAMBER SINGERS:  The Chamber Singers is an auditioned subgroup of the Chorus which meets for half-hour rehearsals after Chorus rehearsals each Wednesday.  Their repertoire for this concert will be Jonathan Dove’s Seek Him that Maketh the Seven Stars.  We will have brief, painless audtions after the Chorus rehearsal on September 25.  If you’re at all interested, please stick around for a few minutes next week.  If you’re interested but can’t be there next week, please let me know (email grwmusic92@gmail.com).
ICC&CS Website Pages
The ACI Website (ACIthaca.org) has several pages of information dedicated to our chorus.

Of particular Interest for Chorus singers is the Semester Information page (https://acithaca.org/groups/icccs/info/).  There you will find complete information for the Chorus, including the Steering Committee, rehearsal schedule, attendance requirements, concert details including mandatory concert dress rehearsals and concert attire, and the ACI COVID policy.

The Music page (https://acithaca.org/groups/icccs/music/) contains complete information about this semester’s music with purchase and practice links and a link to Director Gerald Wolfe’s preferred Youtube video of the Mozart Requiem.  There is also a “just for fun” link to a YouTube video for a tango version of the Lacrimosa movement.
The Weekly Newsletter page (https://acithaca.org/groups/icccs/icccs-weekly-newsletters/) has links to each of the semester's newsletters and is updated soon after the newsletters are sent out to our singers.

Links for all the ICC&CS pages may be found at the bottom of every website page.  Take some time to check the ACIthaca.org website.

If you have any questions or feedback about the website, contact Ed at musicinfo@acithaca.org.
The CyberBass Project
The CyberBass Project (https://www.cyberbass.org/) provides learning aids for choral singers. The ICC&CS Music page (https://acithaca.org/groups/icccs/music/) contains links for two very useful learning aids for our Chorus singers.

https://cyberbass.org/Content/vocal_warmups.htm provides a way to exercise your voice between rehearsals.  There is a selection of free vocal warmups that play on your computer, smartphone or tablet. You can also purchase CDs of various exercises and warmups if you choose.

Particularly useful for this semester are learning files for the Mozart Requiem, which are keyed to the Levin edition that we are using this semester and have separate tracks for each voice range:

Nametags
For the next two rehearsals (September 25 & October 2), there will be a signup sheet for name tags on a table as you enter the rehearsal room.  Please check if you need a name tag and the spelling of your name.  The signup sheet will only be there till 7:30, so check it out as soon as you arrive.  The name tags will be available at rehearsal on October 9.
