Dear participants to the MAG2024!
It is an honor ánd a big pleasure for us to be able to organize the 32nd Masters’ Allround Games (MAG2024) on 1st, 2nd and 3rd March in Enschede, The Netherlands.
In this newsletter we like to inform you about some important details during and around the MAG2024.

Official training times (no entrance costs) are on:
Thursday 29th February:
14:00-15:00h: Official training Women and Men 65+
15:00-16:00h: Official training Men 30-60
Friday 1st March:
10:00-11:00h: Official training Women and Men 65+
11:00-12:00h: Official training Men 30-60
Test starts
During the official training on Friday, the official starters (Marco Hesselink and Michel Boelsma) will be there for you, so that you can do some test starts.
Training before the official training is possible during the general opening times (8.50 euros per training):
Monday 26th February:
10:00-16:30h
20:00-22:30h
Tuesday 27th and Wednesday 28th February:
14:15-16:30h
20:00-22:30h

Please check in personally at the check-in desk on Thursday 29th February. The check-in desk will be on the first floor of IJsbaan Twente (take the stairs in the restaurant) and will be open from 09:00 to 16:00h.
At the check-in you will receive your welcome bag, tickets for the Welcome Drink and Closing Banquet ánd the waiver which we ask you to complete and sign and give us back.
If you have an urgent reason that prevents you from being there on time, please let us know by phone, SMS or WhatsApp (+31 6 51 32 75 94) during 09:00-16:00 on Thursday specifying your first and last name and the time that you will be in Enschede (so that you can complete and sign the waiver).

3. OFFICIAL OPENING AND WELCOME DRINK |
On Thursday 29th February from 16:30-18:00h we like to welcome you at the welcome reception!
During this there will be a short official welcome, the referees and starters will be presented to you and of course you can meet all your skating friends while getting a real Dutch “Koek & Zopie” on the on the inner area of IJsbaan Twente.
Do not forget to bring your ticket for the Welcome Drink!

- You enter the ice track from the inner area (accessible via the tunnel).
- For all races, transponders will be used. You will get the transponders on the inner area, next to the tunnel (see picture below).
- Please use your own arm bands during your races. We will have some available for those who not have their own. Each skater is responsible for wearing the correct color arm band on their right arm.
- During the competition days you can use the spinning bikes on the inner area of the rink. If you bring your own bike, please put your bike near the spinning bikes.

5. PHOTGRAPHER: HARRY VAN 'T VELD |
During the weekend, Harry van ‘t Veld will make pictures from the races. Harry is specialized in sports photography. See his website.
As soon as he has ready the first photos, we will share the link to these. Also during the Closing Banquet an impression of these will be presented on a screen.

After the final race on Sunday afternoon, the price giving ceremony will take place on the inner area of IJsbaan Twente.
We plan to start with this ceremony at 17:45h. So be there in time!

7. CLOSING BANQUET IN THE GROLSCH VESTE |
We are very proud that we are able to invite you for the Closing Banquet on Sunday 3rd March in the Grolsch Veste, the home basis of FC Twente. This football stadium breathes the club color red and has a capacity of 30,000 spectators!
We will welcome you in the Grolsch Veste between 19:30 and 20:00h. The Closing Banquet will start at 20:00h. Do not forget your ticket for this banquet.
A buffet consisting of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes and two drinks are included in this ticket. Do you have certain dietary needs, please inform us via mag2024@schaatscircuit.nl as soon as possible (and before 26th February).
During the buffet you can reminisce about the competition weekend with each other, while the acoustic trio Come Again provides live background music. After the buffet it’s time to get your feet off the floor for those who aren't tired yet! Come Again has a very extensive repertoire!

8. WHERE TO FIND ALL INFORMATION? |
Just before and during the MAG2024 you can find all information (start lists, time schedules, results etc.) via de Sportity App. Download this app on your mobile phone and insert the password “MAG2024”.
The first information, like the provisional program for the weekend and the list of competitors, you can already find in this app.
And of course, we will share a lot of information and impressions on our Facebook page: facebook.com/MAG2024/.
The Organizing Committee will be present at IJsbaan Twente from Wednesday 28th February. The desk will be open from Thursday till Sunday. And for questions you can also reach us by email: mag2024@schaatscircuit.nl.
