NEWSLETTER JULY 2025

Hello art-lovers,

If you're looking for an artistic get-away to the Belgian coast, then SCULPTURAL II is now open until August 31st! After a succesful opening, I am excited to welcome visitors in this church-turned-art temple with works that put the rich diversity of sculptures in the spotlight.

While my team and I look forward to a refreshing summer holiday, I am excited and already anticipate the next steps in my newly established warehouse-gallery and the exhibitions in the second half of the year. Art lovers can then discover my works in a solo-exhibition with MOCA (London, UK) and NQ Gallery (Antwerp, BE). I will also participate in an intriguing group-exhibtiion in the Poortersloge (Bruges, BE). With more plans yet on the way.

I’m excited to keep you updated on the progress of these projects and to share more of what’s coming.
Stay tuned!

Warm regards,

Nick :-)

OPEN NOW: SCULPTURAL II

K.E.R.K., Sint-Pieters-Kapelle - BE
NQ Gallery, Antwerp - BE
01/07/2025 - 31/08/2025

In collaboration with NQ Gallery and the Municipality of Middelkerke, curated by Nick Ervinck

Last week we kicked off SCULPTURAL II with a vibrant opening full of inspiring conversations, tasty bites, and powerful works of art!

A heartfelt thank you to Culture Councillor Natacha Lejaeghere for her thoughtful opening words, and to everyone who helped bring this exhibition to life. I’m especially grateful to my fellow artists for their incredible contributions, and to all the visitors who came out to celebrate with us.

I’ll be sharing a few snapshots from the opening, along with more views of the exhibition space. I hope the sculptures resonate with you as much as they do with me. These are artists I admire, whose work I have followed for years, or with whom I feel an artistic kinship. This exhibition does not aim for uniformity. On the contrary, I sought out tension and contrast – but with a shared seriousness and belief in the potential of sculpture.

Craving for more? Don't miss the extension of SCULPTURAL II at NQ Gallery (Antwerp), open by appointment during July, followed by a grand opening in August!

REVEAL: ROOFTOP ARTWORK "CYROBSIECA"

Titeca Accountancy, Kortrijk - BE
June 2025

Excited to finally unveil CYROBSIECA, a monumental sculpture atop the Titeca Accountancy building in Kortrijk (BE)! It's the latest—and largest—piece in my growing Cyborg-Bonsai series, designed to spark wonder, strangeness, and a glimpse of an undiscovered future. A surreal sci-fi moment that invites passersby to pause and reflect, cutting through the rush of daily life.

The Cyborg-Bonsai series blends artificial nature with advanced technology—imagining a future where nature and machine merge, and humans shape even the smallest detail from shape, colour to even smell. Yet, at its core, the bonsai remains rooted in tradition, patience, and harmony—symbolising the delicate balance between human control and natural growth.
