Four races into the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season and I started analyzing some numbers. Lots of interesting trends developing. But Ryan Blaney's start stood out because I thought about how he finished in 2023 - HOT! Looking back on the Team Penske driver's last 10 races, dating back to his win at Talladega, he's easily been the best, recording an impressive eight top 10s (seven of them top-fives) and a pair of wins. The latest television ratings were released and it's very good news as the NASCAR Cup Series race was the top-rated sports event of the entire weekend for a third consecutive weekend, with more than four million viewers tuning into the race at Phoenix. Click to read story.
 
Wednesday
The NASCAR on NBC booth will already have a dramatically different feel absent Dale Earnhardt Jr. in 2024. The network isn't done with change as it was announced that Rick Allen will work the six races up until the Summer Olympics coverage and then will be replaced for the remainder of the 2024 schedule by veteran commentator Leigh Diffey, a move largely lauded by fans. Thursday 
 
Kyle Busch made a guest appearance on The Pat McAfee Show this week and during his interview the two-time Cup Series champ talked about various topics, including fighting and why he won't be racing in F1. But one of the more interesting moments occurred when the Richard Childress Racing driver surprisingly revealed that Kyle Larson took his ride at this year's Indianapolis 500. Click to read story
