Hello Friends!

🎶"School Again! School Again!"🎶 - That's for all of my Anne of Green Gables musical insiders!  This summer my family vacationed in the East Coast so the musical has been on my mind for weeks now.

Yes, here we are ready to embark on another fall.  Although it does mean saying goodbye to summer I always feel like fall is an invitation to new beginnings - starting a new class, a new hobby, making new friends.  My new thing: I'm going to take Second City improv classes!  There is so much overlap with the jazz mentality I just know I'm going to love it.

I hope you had a wonderful summer and that we get to see each other soon!

September Fridays - Shannon & The Pickup Artists @ The Rex

My Friday night September residency at The Rex in Toronto begins next week!  (Yes, September is just minutes away!) Every Friday from 5:00-7:00 I'll be taking the stage for two sets.  You read that right - the early shows now start at 5pm!

This time round I'm singing with The Pickup Artists - a band name I've created because every week I'll be inviting a new band member to join in the fun!  I always say I'm a lucky gal because I get to make music with the best musicians who also happen to be wonderful friends and this time I'm mixing it up from week to week.  The list of talent includes Michael Shand, Joel Visentin, Chris Adrienesse, Ewen Farncombe, Tim Shia and more!

The 5:00 slot at The Rex is no longer a ticketed event and they've opened up the doors again to Toronto's thriving Queen Street.  Come on down and welcome in the weekend with me September 5th, 12th, 19th & 26th!

The Rex is located at 194 Queen Street West in Toronto.
