Monday

We're now five races into the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season and there are a lot of statistics revealing some interesting things, but I think one of the most unique numbers shows just how good/competitive NASCAR is compared to other racing like F1. In the first five Cup races, we've had five different winners, which is solid, but what's more impressive is the margin of victory of all races combined is less than 7 seconds. Click to read story

NASCAR is on a roll. Five races into the 2024 Cup Series season and the television ratings continue to impress. The latest numbers from Bristol show another sizeable increase of viewership at 3.809 million viewers, up 10% from the number who tuned in to watch last year's dirt race on Easter.

Interestingly, for the first time in four weeks, NASCAR wasn't the most-watched weekend sporting event. Who was first? Click to read story

Daniel Suarez won a thrilling race at Atlanta a few weeks ago and is playoff bound. I sat down with the Trackhouse Racing driver and we talked about a variety of topics, including his early season, what he thought of the Bristol tire issues and how F1 might factor into fixing the problem, why he believes he is responsible for a rule change in this year's race at Circuit of the Americas, and why he thinks that F1 is boring. Thursday
Zane Smith won the NASCAR Truck Series championship in 2022. Now, just two years later and the 24-year-old is running as a Cup Series rookie and the first five races of the year have been downright brutal.

I visited with the Spire Motorsports driver and talked about his start, how he deals with losing so much, and one of his biggest fears, which isn't going well with the start of this year. Click to see full interview
