We're now five races into the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season and there are a lot of statistics revealing some interesting things, but I think one of the most unique numbers shows just how good/competitive NASCAR is compared to other racing like F1. NASCAR is on a roll. Five races into the 2024 Cup Series season and the television ratings continue to impress. The latest numbers from Bristol show another sizeable increase of viewership at 3.809 million viewers, up 10% from the number who tuned in to watch last year's dirt race on Easter.

Zane Smith won the NASCAR Truck Series championship in 2022. Now, just two years later and the 24-year-old is running as a Cup Series rookie and the first five races of the year have been downright brutal.
