Hello music lovers, 
 
We've now got just under two weeks left of our live music programme before we close for our annual holiday (we will be closed from Sun 22nd Dec and re-opening on Fri 3rd Jan). 
 
However, before the year is out, we have lots of great music to share with you... including some very special festive shows! 
 
UPCOMING FESTIVE SHOWS...
Magic NumbersWe're very pleased to say, that one of our favourite bands, the Mercury-nominated MAGIC NUMBERS will be doing their annual Xmas show with us, on Sat 21st Dec... our last night of music for the year! Their evening show SOLD OUT just a few hours after we announced it, but we've since announced a special matinée event, which will happen on the same date. This will be a cosy, chilled out afternoon gig (starting 2pm), featuring brother and sister ROMEO & MICHELE STODART, playing an intimate acoustic show, featuring old favourites from The Magic Numbers, plus some newer songs. They will also be doing a Q&A with the audience. There are still a few tickets left for this matinée event, so grab 'em quick while you can!

Country HANK WANGFORD (Fri 20th Dec); and last but not least, THE LEWIS FAMILY CHRISTMAS HOUR (Weds 18th Dec) - a special event featuring The Lewis Sisters, and Sir Martyn Lewis for an evening of singing of songs and telling of tales to lighten the spirits for Christmas!

  Phil BeerIf festive shows are not your thing, fear not! We have you covered too!  The immensely talented EGAN SISTERS are with us this Thursday (12th Dec) for their official launch as a sister duo, with an evening of old Irish tunes and songs; PHIL BEER, the multi-instrumental half of the west countryʼs award winning acoustic duo, Show of Hands, returns for his much loved annual Green Note matinée this Sunday (15th Dec), while that evening, the multi-award winning DANNI NICHOLLS makes a welcome return with her Smoky soul, folk-pop and heart-wrenching alt-country, all in a rich voice (Q Magazine); And one of Green Note's favourite pianomen -  EWAN BLEACH closes out our Basement Bar shows for the year on Friday 20th Dec with an evening of 1920s & 30s jazz and blues.
