اولین نمایشگاه انفرادی علی مبصر با عنوان «تمبرهای یک انقلاب» مجموعه ی تمبرهای جداشده از پاکت نامه. ها و بسته. های پستی را شامل می شود که هنرمند در کودکی از طرف افراد خانواده. اش در ایران دریافت کرده و اکنون از آن. ها عکاسی کرده. است. این تصاویر، تنها وسیله. ی ارتباطی او با کشورش بود که در نهایت در سال ۱۳۹۵ پس از گذشت ۳۷ سال موفق به دیدار آن شد. هر یک از تمبر های علی مبصر، داستان. های نانوشته. ای را در پس نقوش خود پنهان کرده. اند که از سویی می. توان آن. را بخشی از زندگینامه. ی هنرمند تلقی کرد و از سوی دیگر می. توان رویدادهای برهه. ای از تاریخ کشور را در میان. شان ردیابی کرد.
علی مبصر (مریلند، ۱۳۵۵)، لیسانس خود را در هنرهای زیبا از دانشگاه کینگزستون در «سوری» (۱۳۷۴-۱۳۷۸) دریافت کرد. او برنده. ی جایزه. ی استعدادهای نوظهور لنزکالچر در سال ۱۳۹۳ و همینطور جزو برگزیدگان رسمی بوتوگرافیز: گردهمایی عکاسی مون. پلیه در سال ۱۳۹۶ است. او پیش از این نمایشگاه. هایی در لندن، بارسلون و لوس. آنجلس برگزار کرده.است.

The first solo exhibition by Ali Mobasser titled Stamps of A Revolution continues at Ag Galerie.
In 1979, following the Islamic Revolution, many Iranians left their homeland in both self and government-imposed exiles. Ali Mobasser’s family also left in that year and settled in the United States. Ali was three years old. The letters and packages which began to arrive from Iran were the only connection the Mobassers had to their loved ones and their country, and as Ali grew older, the stamps on these parcels provided his only visual source of information about a country he would not visit for another three decades. The series of 107 photographs of stamps issued between 1979 and 1989 present a compelling account of the first ten years following the Islamic Revolution and include scenes of protest and war, examples of local flora and handicrafts and portraits of historical personalities. Mobasser travels back to Iran to hold his first solo exhibition and to deliver the stamps back to their land of issue.
Born in 1976, Mobasser received his BA from Kingston University in Surrey in 1999. His series Afsaneh Box III was the Official Selection of 'Boutographies: Recontres Photographiques de Montpellier' in 2017 and winner of the ‘Lensculture Emerging Talent’. And he was the winner of 'British Journal of Photography’s Portrait of 'Britain' from 'Street Photographs 2014-2015' for ‘Afsaneh Box III’.

این گالری به برگزاری نمایشگاه آثار هنرمندان معاصر عکاسی و مدیوم هایی که پایه ی عکاسی دارند اختصاص داده شده است. ساختمان گالری، ویلایی بازسازی شده واقع در شمال تهران است که قدمت آن به دهه ی ۱۳۴۰ خورشیدی باز می گردد. ما از برقراری ارتباط میان هنرمندان ایران و سایر نقاط جهان حمایت کرده و از این طریق هنرمندان سرشناس بین المللی را به برگزاری نمایشگاه آثار خود در این گالری دعوت می نماییم. ما به "بدون کاغذ" (Paperless) بودن باور داریم، به همین منظور و برای حفاظت از محیط زیست، دعوتنامه و کاتالوگ چاپ نمی کنیم، از این رو مجله ای سالیانه که تمامی نمایشگاه های برگزار شده را در بر می گیرد منتشر خواهیم کرد. چنانچه مایل به دریافت دعوتنامه ی الکترونیکی گالری هستید، می توانید در صفحه ی تماس با ما ثبت نام کنید.

Located in a restored 1960’s villa in the northern part of Tehran, Ag Galerie is a privately owned space wholly devoted to exhibiting contemporary works of art photography and IMAGE-based media by established Iranian artists. We support creating an artistic dialog between artists from Iran and elsewhere and we invite renowned international artists to exhibit at our galerie. Our aim is to also raise the standards of the presentation of photography through proper archival printing and framing methods. Therefore, we have established Ag Digital Lab with the finest and most sophisticated of facilities. Ag Galerie is committed to being a paperless organization and reducing our use of paper to help protect the environment. The paper remnants from our printing lab are recycled properly. We do not print invitations and catalogues and instead publish an annual magazine covering all our exhibitions. Our goal is to raise the awareness and appreciation of this art-form through exhibitions, art fairs and publications. لابراتوار چاپ دیجیتال Ag با هدف ارتقاء استانداردهای ارائه عکاسی در ایران با بهترین و مجهزترین تجهیزات تاسیس شده است. کادر حرفه ای لابراتوار با استفاده از کاغذ های آرشیوی شامل هانه موله، اپسون و کانسون؛ دو اسکنر تخت Epson V800 Photo و یک اسکنر درام Hasselblad Flextight X5؛ پرس بر روی لایه هایی مختلف؛ خدمات مشاوره در رابطه با ارائه و نمایش عکس، آماده ی همکاری با هنرمندان است. تمامی این خدمات با تعیین وقت قبلی ارائه می شود و اطمینان می دهیم که آثار تولید شده در Ag Digital Lab تا قبل از نمایش عمومی دیده نخواهد شد.

Ag Digital Lab is now open and fully operational. Our aim is to raise the standards of the presentation of photography in Iran through proper archival printing and framing methods. To this end, we operate only with the finest and most sophisticated of facilities: A full stock of the highest quality archival papers such as Hahnemühle, Epson and Canson; Two scanners—Epson V800 Photo and Hasselblad Flextight X5; Mounting on various substrates; Presentation and exhibition consultation. We offer all these services by appointment and with complete privacy and confidentiality ensuring that no artwork is seen prior to being exhibited. |
