BPS Annual General Meeting – Wednesday 22nd July 2026
This newsletter is to give you notice that the Annual General Meeting of Bristol Photographic Society will be held, at the Clubhouse and on Zoom, on Wednesday July 22, 2026 at 7.30pm. 
 
Please find attached documents for the AGM.
  • Council of Management 2025-6.pdf - List of the present members of the Council of the Society who are required to resign at the AGM but are eligible for re-election. All have stated that they are willing to be re-nominated for membership of the Council of the Society.
  • AGM 2026 Nomination for BPS Council.pdf - The form for proposing a new member of the Society’s Council and for the nominated person consenting to this proposal. Please note that under new legislation all company directors (of even small companies such as BPS) have to consent to verify their identity with Companies House. This legal requirement came into force on September 1, 2025. This is a simple and quick process and all present members of the Council have completed this process. Advice on how to undertake this process will be given to the new BPS directors
  • Extract from Bristol Photographic Society.pdf - Extract from the Society’s Articles of Association outlining the rules on election/re-election to membership of the Society’s Council.
  • Bristol Photographic Society Proxy Form.pdf - Proxy Form. To be returned by Saturday 18, July 2026 as outlined on the form.

The AGM will be followed by the presenting of cups and trophies won by members during the year and a presentation by two of the newer members of the Society, Urmila Kerslake and John Cato.
